Hidden Valley Golf Course Stream Restoration
City of Delaware Finalizes Design Plans for Section 319(h) Clean Water Grant Stream Restoration Project at Hidden Valley Golf Course
The City of Delaware received a Section 319(h) Nonpoint Source Award from the United States Environmental Protection Agency through an Ohio Environmental Protection Agency assistance agreement for the Hidden Valley Golf Course Stream Restoration on October 25, 2022. The Hidden Valley Golf Course Stream Restoration project aims to restore 1,349 linear feet of stream flow and create 2.0 acres of riparian buffer and 0.5 acres of restored wetlands to address eroding streambanks and reduce sediment and nutrient levels in Delaware Run. The design phase is complete, and construction will begin in January 2025. A tour will be planned upon project completion.
