Who We Are
The Olentangy Watershed Alliance (OWA) was formed in April 1999 and is a 501(c)(3). OWA’s primarily involved in the watershed south of the Delaware Dam spanning down to the southern limits of the City of Delaware. OWA typically meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. via Zoom. Meetings are open to the public, please consider joining us. Meeting schedules are subject to change; contact us at olentangyriverwatershed@gmail.com with questions or for the Zoom link.
OWA is governed by a Board of Directors who operate according to OWA’s bylaws and make decisions based on a majority vote, although consensus is sought.
Mission
Our mission is to work in partnership with farming, urban and other local communities to understand, appreciate and responsibly use the Olentangy River, its tributaries and watershed.
Vision
To encourage the responsible use and stewardship of the Olentangy River Watershed by partnering with local communities and stakeholders while providing public outreach and citizen opportunity to enhance and preserve the watersheds natural integrity, biodiversity, water quality, scenic beauty, and recreational value.
